there is no real written rule which says you gonna need some hardcore drawing
kills. Yes, knowing how to draw can be a good advantage when stepping in the
field. They do play a role at the time of expression and execution of idea
while doing projects. Drawing is very subjective; it is also a form of art. Not
able to draw like masters are acceptable. If you can communicate with the help
of minimalistic drawing conveying your idea is acceptable.
Does a Graphic Designer Need Drawing
Skills?
We have
seen graphic designers who hesitate to pick the pencil up because they think
the real artist was born with talent. They think it is very difficult and push
themselves in pit deeper and deeper with this mentality. And this is the
biggest misconception about drawing. Learning to draw in not that difficult,
you just need to practice. Practice a lot. Once you let yourself fall for
drawing, you will learn how beautiful and educating topic it is.
You don't have to take a master's class in Paris to learn how to draw,
ask your friend or someone in contacts who are associated with this field for
some real honest opinions. Help yourself, dig in interne and find suitable
tutorials. Follow experts and understand them. Approach teachers or experts and
ask for guidance and reviews, share your work with people on the internet to
know their opinion. Join the community of people who are in the same
boat.
